It was not all smooth sailing; Nirmalya had to float through rough tides. He started his own IT firm but failed due to his business partner’s cheating. He lost all the money and was back to zero.
However, Nirmalya knew that if he had beaten the odds once because of his hard work and honesty, he could do it again. He decided to make a career in real estate, establishing his reputation as a capable mortgage loan officer. He dealt with sales development and recruitment. Aware of the importance of customer trust in the mortgage industry, his main goal was to remain honest and guide all customers irrespective of their budget and affordability. He wanted to assist all those who dreamt and worked all their lives for a comfortable, lovely home.
After nearly sixteen years in the industry, Nirmalya has funded over $2 billion, simultaneously earning his customers’ trust. He has been recognized with honorary mentions and awards by various organizations, such as the NRI Global Pageant at Silicon Valley, AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America), and Bank of America Platinum Award 2012, respectively.
