While the entertainment industry is both fun and vibrant, it still takes a lot of effort and hustle to get known for your work. It requires guts and excellent communication skills to entertain an audience and remain relevant in the public eye. Jack Farmer, a DJ, and a host, has come a long way and looks forward to highlighting his name in the field with remarkable companies.
Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, he has always been a sports enthusiast. Coming from a very supportive family, Farmer’s parents hardly ever missed any of his competitions, whether it was a sports event or a talent show. Despite his profound interest in entertainment, he never acknowledged his ability to speak and entertain audiences until college. He discovered his talent when he scored high in a college presentation. Without adequate preparation, he communicated the idea of the business book confidently by presenting it to the teachers and students. Using his natural talent and flair for entertainment, he was able to get an A even though he only read a couple of the book’s pages. At that moment, he recognized his skills as a speaker and entertainer.
As a young boy, Farmer was intrigued by ring announcers and wrestling commentators. Taking his inspiration from his idol, Micheal Buffer, he decided to build his career as a host and ring commentator. He joined the sales department of a reputable DJ company, which piqued his interest in DJing to pay for his school, and after a short period, left the company and pursued his career as a self-established DJ and MC.
As he received praise from people, he realized he was finally on the right path. People appreciated his contribution at their weddings, as one client shared, “We had the best night ever, and so much of that is because of Jack Farmer,” while some said, “He got everyone so pumped up! And on top of that he did an amazing job running the party!” The fact is that Farmer pursued what he loved and excelled at it, and this is what helped him conquer the DJ and MC space and win awards at the local level.
Utilizing his enthusiasm and experience, Jack Farmer became a significant part of Maria Menounos’ AfterBuzz TV network. Initially, he wrote articles for them and became a panelist for most of their WWE shows, but he was soon given the opportunity to host his own show for the first time, covering the then new wrestling company, AEW. Paving his way through thick and thin, he managed to impress the audience until the pandemic hit hard, and everything started to crumble. Instead of falling in despair, he pulled himself out of the quicksand and began producing his own shows, discussing music, movies, and finance, along with wrestling coverage.
After hosting shows of his own for a brief time, he was hired by Static Media and Spotify, and has interviewed some of the most prominent wrestlers in the world. As part of David Marquez Productions, he has hosted shows, conducted interviews, handled ring announcing, and provided commentary for live events for United Wrestling Network, PrimeTime LIVE, and Championship Wrestling. In addition to being the voice of Santino Bros Wrestling and the Influencer Fight League, he has also been a ring announcer for DEFY Wrestling. Furthering his passion for entertainment, he also tried his luck at acting and appeared in the movie Dead Body in a small role (where he also received a producer credit on the film).
Creating enthusiasm, engagement, and consumer loyalty is his job as a producer and a host. As an experienced host of live and streaming events, he creates content that builds excitement in shows, products, and events while delivering a clear message. Today, Farmer hopes to work with larger productions with massive audiences so that he can entertain a more significant number of people. We can’t wait to see where he heads next.
