Meet Kique Gomez: A Talented Bisexual Musician and the Voice Finalist

A 19-year-old young man with passion and immense love for music, singer, and performer Kique Gomez is gifted and has the power to make anyone fall in love with his voice. He has a soulful voice that resonates with his fun and lighthearted personality. Unlike those who follow music as a hobby, Kique aims to make it his main profession and hopes to make as many people listen to and connect with his music as possible. His dynamic presence in The Voice’22 left everyone speechless and made him the heartthrob of many.

Born and raised in Miami, Florida, Kique has always shown an affinity for music, and his family’s support led him to follow his dream and allowed his love for music to grow. During his childhood, he struggled with speaking, went through speech therapy and music therapy, and was eventually able to speak properly. Music therapy helped him understand how to shape words, and it became a savior as it gave him a voice.

Before he started doing music full-time, his first job was at McDonald’s, and then he worked at a local pet shop. Besides music, Kique also has a strong affection for reptiles and now has 30 reptiles, including seven snakes and quite a few geckos.

Following years of consistent hard work, Kique auditioned for “The Voice” and instantly won hearts last year. He has received a lot of love and appreciation from the judges and audience and reached the Top 10 list, his career’s most significant achievement.

As they say, sometimes life has completely different plans for you; Kique tested positive for Covid-19 right at the peak of his journey on The Voice, leaving his fans and coach, Gwen, concerned and worried. However, his remarkable dedication to his music showed as he performed in a remote location during the Top 10 performances and made his coach immensely proud of him.

After his unforgettable performance, his fans showed their support on Twitter, with one of them saying, “I’m just saying I couldn’t even talk to my momma on the phone when I had Covid, and Kique really just handed us that vocal! #TheVoice.”Kique firmly believes that with such recognition comes a lot of responsibility; therefore, he aims to continue working hard and creating music for his fans. Here is a link to his TikTok and Instagram account to learn more about him.
