Erik Allen hosts his popular podcast Top Rated MMA and The Erik Allen Show. He is a self made individual who has risen to the realm of power and success after a lot of struggle. Today, he hosts other entrepreneurs, successful people and influential people to give them a platform to share stories and create an impact. Being an avid MMA fan, he made a livelihood out of his passion by hosting an MMA show.
Erik’s childhood and teen years have been hard. He suffered from an abusive and broken home, got kicked out when very young and had to live all by himself. Being unsupervised, he got involved in drugs and alcohol, which also led him to jail at the age of 18 and bankruptcy at the age of 21. Suffering in life since a young age, the only thing that helped him escape his chaotic life was faith. He gave his life to Christ in 2004, which gave him a whole life. He welcomed the love of his life and married her in 2005. Today they have two awesome kids and cannot be happier.
Erik is an early riser and one of the routine rituals that he does is thank God for the day. As soon as he wakes up, he opens his eyes and pays gratitude to God for a new day in health and wellness. That is his number task of the day. After that, he makes his bed.
He has created a Vision Wall in his office which consists of photos of family, his favorite quotations, goals & ambitions. Once he is at the office, he switches on worship music and speaks to every single item on his vision wall. Then he spends time in prayer thanking God for everything that he has been blessed with. This morning routine is non-negotiable for Erik. There is nothing that can get in between him and his routine. He thrives on it and it is the one thing that he cannot start the day without. He feels indebted by the unimaginable goodness and blessings he’s been bestowed upon by God, compelling him to pray to Him and thank Him.
Faith and prayer are sacred to Erik and being grateful to God shapes his entire morning routine. It is truly inspiring to see a man of so many talents and a man with an influential voice in the country, to be so downright humble.
