Kendall Freeman’s 12 Lessons from Her 12-Month Eating Disorder Recovery

A small-town accounting student and eating disorder fighter, Kendall Freeman is an inspiration for those who want to heal strained relationships between body and food. Kendall is a lifestyle influencer that also focuses on wellness through her Instagram @fueling.g00d. Kendall launched her lifestyle platform as a way to seek motivation for recovery in her own battle with an eating disorder and now empowers people still struggling. She sees that very few people choose to talk about eating disorders, and she wants to create an alternate narrative through her social media accounts.

Kendall has been using her Instagram @fueling.g00d to spread awareness. She documented her entire journey in eating disorder recovery which is how she amassed her following. Others feel a sense of hope in their own journeys after seeing that she did it.

The lifestyle and wellness influencer, Kendall recently started a podcast called Fueling Fridays. One of her first episodes is a recount of the twelve most impactful lessons she learned in twelve months of recovery. She hopes that these lessons will be a helpful guide for those struggling. Just to highlight some of her lessons, she shared that mental hunger is just as important as physical hunger. Mental hunger is when you continually think about food even if you don’t feel physical hunger signals. She also shares that nothing you can eat is more unhealthy than restricting.

She wants everyone struggling to know that they are deserving of recovery and it is possible. Her dream is to work with large brands and work together to share the importance of eating disorder recovery and awareness. Kendall believes that with her passion and hopefully the collaboration of her favorite brands she will be able to start an industry shift.
