How Mosope Ogunjobi Grew her Following During the COVID Lockdown

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the world at the beginning of 2020, everything went online. From shopping malls to educational institutes, everything was now only available through digital means. Thus, such a surprising and uncertain situation increased the need for inspirations who would connect with people through social media platforms.

Introducing Mosope Ogunjobi, a luxury fashion, beauty, and lifestyle influencer, who grew her following amidst the covid lockdown. Her artistic mind, and enthusiasm for fashion helped her build a platform where she could share her creative ideas. Even though Mosope was a chartered secretary by profession, she always had an eye for fashion. Her choice of outfits and sense of style was so impeccable that every time she dressed to go to work, people would compliment her and ask where she got her clothing pieces from. At the same time, her friends too would praise her work while advising her to create a business out of this. As a result, Mosope decided to give her creativity a chance and entered the fashion industry as a personal shopper, where she would pick and style clothes for high net worth individuals. She called this business, Luxuriant Style, as it was focused around luxury fashion and style. Mosope loved her job as she encountered a number of exciting opportunities and clients. But once she started working with influencers, she halted as she got a chance to closely watch their life and witness the opportunities they got. Thus, inspired by the job of an influencer, Mosope created Style Necessity on Instagram and started her own journey as an influencer.

Since Mosope had a unique sense of approach, her account quickly started attracting followers. Therefore, she made sure to produce new and creative content regularly to maximize her impact on this platform. Her work was spread around a number of areas in luxury lifestyle including fashion, beauty, food, and travel, where she would also build relationships with luxury brands to suggest quality products to her followers. As a result, Mosope was working tremendously hard towards creating great content.

Soon Mosope’s skills and efforts started showing their results as she hit 1 million followers on Instagram. Even though she had recently begun her journey, Mosope was one of the few underrepresented influencers in the luxury space. However, the way she has progressed towards her passion is a sign that soon she will be recognized as one of the main social media influencers who provide great content in the luxury industry.
