Meet One of the Most Influential Women in Leadership, Cindy Monroe – Celebrating 20 Years of Success with Thirty-One Gifts

Women are making remarkable strides in the business world, and Cindy Monroe is a great example. As one of the most influential women in leadership today, she celebrates 20 years of success with the company she founded, Thirty-One Gifts.

Monroe is a leading female entrepreneur and currently serves as executive chairwoman at Thirty-One Gifts, one of America’s leading direct-selling companies. With her passion for inspiring and empowering women, Monroe is also a leadership mentor who has shared her Flourish Model to help women thrive in both their professional and personal lives.

Growing up, Monroe overcame several obstacles. Despite being diagnosed with ADHD as a child, she was determined to pursue her dreams and create something remarkable with her life.

Her determination paid off when she founded Thirty-One Gifts in 2003. With the help of a few friends, Monroe started the company in the basement of her home in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Under her leadership, Thirty-One Gifts reached nearly $800 million, with over 100,000 independent consultants throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Monroe has been recognized through numerous awards, including Forbes Magazine’s “Self-Made Women to Watch,” Columbus Business First’s “40 under 40,” and Fast 50. She was also named twice as one of the Most Powerful Women in Direct Selling.

In celebration of the company’s first 20 years, Monroe recently released her first book, “More Than a Bag.” This inspiring read not only tells how Monroe overcame challenges and achieved success with Thirty-One Gifts, it offers motivating lessons for other women in business.

In addition to debuting her book, Monroe also hosts a podcast, Permission to Lead, where she conducts in-depth interviews with other female CEOs and business executives to offer leadership and entrepreneurial advice. She also provides free tools and resources for listeners to help them reach their full potential.

Monroe continues encouraging and motivating more women to take the leap and believe in their ability to flourish at both work and home. Leading by example, Monroe is showing women everywhere how they can find success, even in the face of adversity.

So, this Women’s History Month, let’s take a moment to celebrate one of the most influential women in leadership, Cindy Monroe, and all she has achieved. Visit her website, Cindy Monroe, or follow her on Instagram for inspiration.
